Nicole M. Ortiz, 32, is charged with misdemeanor corruption of minors and disorderly conduct, said Slate Belt Regional Police in a statement.
Officers were called to a home on the 800 block of William Street on Nov. 10 for reports of two teenagers fighting in the road, authorities wrote.
On arrival, police spoke with Ortiz, who confirmed that her son was involved in the fight and that she knew the brawl was going to take place before it actually happened, investigators claim.
Detectives said they watched a video of the fight, in which Ortiz is allegedly heard "encouraging her son several times to assault the other juvenile."
Ortiz surrendered to police the next day after a warrant was issued for her arrest. She was arraigned before a Magisterial District court and released on $10,000 unsecured bail, state legal records show.
